Free To Choose® Network is a global media 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that brought you Milton Friedman’s original 1980 10-part television series, Free To Choose. It continues to use accessible and entertaining media to build popular support for personal, economic, and political freedom with three distinct paths:
Free To Choose Media is the production arm of Free To Choose Network, producing award-winning documentaries that offer a fresh perspective on important issues; they are real stories about real people distributed through public television broadcast and streaming. Our video library features over 500 hours of documentary films, The Idea Channel® with conversations amongst scholars, web series, and podcasts for today’s viewing audience. All are available for no-cost streaming on our website, YouTube, Vimeo, and Roku.
izzit.org®, our educational affiliate since 2006, offers no-cost, high-quality educational materials to educators: teachers, home-schoolers, parents, grandparents, and group leaders. We create entertaining and educational videos that encourage critical thinking, are standards-aligned, and come with teachers’ guides, activities, quizzes, and more.
We are the proud keepers of Capitaf (Cap-i-taf), a private space nestled in the Vermont mountains and once the summer home of Nobel Prize winner Milton Friedman and his wife, Rose. Capitaf gives us a facility ideally suited for creative brainstorming, scholarly debate, quiet contemplation, and intellectual collaboration. It is available to scholars, students, business and government leaders, and those who seek to understand and consider how to apply Friedman’s insights to the challenges of our world today.
By way of powerful storytelling, we inspire curiosity, elicit emotion, and open the door for real conversations about issues that affect all of humanity. We welcome your participation in all of our efforts! Contact Rob Chatfield at email@example.com.
