Producer / Writer
Erin Mae Miller is a documentary producer based in NYC. Her passion for people, ideas, and justice drives her storytelling and research. Erin has produced work for PBS, History, Discovery, VH1, E!, and TLC.
Erin first became interested in American poverty and justice while volunteering at a soup kitchen in NYC for 3.5 years. During that time, she heard heartbreaking stories unveiling the difficulty of recovering from tragic circumstances and entrenchment in "the system." She set out to make Work & Happiness: The Human Cost of Welfare through the perspective of those on welfare, highlighting their personal experience, and the hoops many jump through to simply survive.
